AIR CHAIR REGATTA 2003

WHERE: LAKE HAVASU CITY,

ARIZONA

 AT: CRAZY HORSE CAMPGROUNDS.  

WHEN: OCT 17TH, 18TH, & 19TH

We kick off the weekend with a 50's Theme party on Friday night at

 Crazy Horse Campground

 Silver Spur Hall 7:00 p.m. 

 50's music to dance to and

50's best dressed award.  Bring your own beverages, and any snacks you would like to share.

Admission to party: bring

non-perishable food item per person.

Food will be given to the

local food bank.

Saturday

We all meet at the beach of Crazy Horse Campgrounds for a full day of Hydrofoiling, games and activities for kids, and the whole family. 

Sub Sandwiches, chips, and soda for lunch is available (not included in cost of registration, must pre-order & pre-pay) Served in Silver Spur Hall.

Saturday Evening

We will end the day with a delicious catered dinner in the hall.

Someplace Special will cater again this year.  Awards ceremony and raffle to follow.

Sunday

Group Photo in the morning then stick around for a Air Chair show with some of the best riders around.   

Enjoy the rest of your stay. 

I need a volunteer to do a group photo, please see Bambi Friday night if you can

assist her with this.

For everyone that made it last year or in past years, hope you can join us again this year.  Without your support this is not possible or as much fun.  Volunteer Boats and Drivers are needed again as well.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you plan to attend or  if you can bring a boat. 

Pre-Registration is necessary

Adults $25.00 ea.

Children 11- 18 $12.50 ea.

Children under 10 and under $6.25 ea.

Late Fee Registration after Oct 10th, add an additional $10.00 per person.   $5.00 late fee on children 10 and under. 

No exceptions.

The fees help to pay for dinner, prizes, insurance, use fees, permits, etc.  There are many expenses in doing such an event.  Everyone in attendance must register and sign release forms, even if they do not plan to ride.

Tell them you're with the Air Chair Regatta rates $18.00 + tax per night upper level or  North Beach sites $35.00 + tax per night. 

 Host Hotel: Island Inn

Rooms are LIMITED, $70.00 + tax per night.  Book early before they are gone 928-680-0606.  Cut off date is Oct 3rd.  There is also an antique car show this weekend.  If you don't reserve, rooms will be expensive and hard to find.  Island Inn has given us a great discount, so lets show our appreciation, book rooms with them.

At either the Island Inn Hotel or Crazy Horse Campgrounds, you must tell them it's for the Air Chair Regatta. 

THINGS TO BRING

A boat if you can.

Anything needed for a day at the beach, towels, sunscreen, a wet suit possibly, beverages, drinking water, snack, etc.

You should also have your own life jacket (PFD) as not every boat will have extra pfd's.
