1. Before assembly clean all T-Bar threads with paint thinner or solvent and oil them generously (using a Q-tip maybe useful). Stainless Steel as your blade bolts and T-Bar threads have a tendency to seize if not lubricated. Froze, broke off, or cross threaded bolds are not warranted. 2. Place the large blade (13) on the front of the T-Bar with the wing tip fins down See Diagram. Use the 1/2" (18A) Flathead Allen Screw in the front hole and the 3/4" (18) in the other two holes. 2-A. Place your rear blade selection
(14 or 14a) on the bottom of the T-Bar, use 3/4" (18)flathead
allen screw in first hole and a 1/2" (18a) flathead Allen screw
in the rear hole. When blades are in proper position the Allen bolts
will be recessed into the countersunk holes. Using the correct power
wedge (15) Note: Power Wedges are always used to create necessary
lift. Power Wedges are placed between rear blade and T-Bar. The thick
edge forward using front bold off rear blade. 3. Insert the 3/8 stud (16) into the top of the T-Bar (12). 4. In preparation for mounting the bindings, lubricate the 12 screws (23) with petroleum Jelly. Pre-Assemble the bindings by inserting the 1 1/4 screw (23) first into the binding rail (6) then through the binding overlay(8). The heel strap (9) and the binding (7) Refer to diagram. 5. Stick the footbeds (10) on the ski blank centering between binding screw holes. 6. Mount the binding assemblies onto the ski and tighten them until the rubber squeezes out under the binding rails. (6). Note: Rotating back and forth from one screw to the other (Front, Center, Back). This will prevent putting uneven pressure on the rails, so it will not crack. Forming a clamp to the ski. When the rail lip is touching the board it is time to stop. 7. Attach the seat belt (4) by folding the inside of the loops in half to start into seat belt slots on the seat (2) apply pressure as you wiggle loop back and forth. 8. Before applying seat pad clean aluminum
seat top with solvent such as paint thinner or acetone 9. Bolt the seat (2) to the ski (1) using 1 1/4" buttonhead Allen screws (19) and 5/16 flat washers (20) both go on through the top attaching them to the D-Nuts (5) on the bottom. Do Not Overtighten the D-Nuts. Once the screw touches the top of the seat tower only turn them about one turn. 10. Slide the T-Bar assembly into the ski. Use the large wing nut (17) to hold it in place. 11. Insert Safety Pin (22) through entire seat. Secure ring onto other end to prevent accidental loss of the foil assembly. 12. The Air Chair Seat and Foil Assembly are HI-Polished Aluminum. Tarnish, nicks and scratches will rob you of your high performance. Care should be used when handling your Air Chair to prevent damage. Tarnish should be removed with aluminum polish. 13. Bright and Neon colors will fade when exposed to prolonged sunlight. This is not covered under the warranty. Always store your Air Chair indoors, or in the shade when not in use. This will greatly extend the color life of your Air Chair. You may also choose to provide extra protection by using an Air Chair Storage Bag, or a Ski Cover. 14. Please note that before shipment each aluminum T-Bar, blades, and seat tower have been quality control inspected. The have met or exceeded manufactures quality control. There is no exchange for pinholes or porosity on these parts. BEFORE EACH RIDE YOU SHOULD: *Check the tightness of all bolts and screws. *Check your safety belt for extreme wear or fraying. *Check your foot bindings for damage or weathering. *Make sure your quick pin is properly inserted and your wing nut is on. *Replace any safety items showing wear that may affect the riders personal safety or the safety of others. Separation of parts may result in injuries including death or dismemberment.
